Gullo Auto Group has been doing business in Conroe, Texas for 45 years, and has prided itself on its dedication to the community since the beginning. To celebrate this amazing anniversary, the dealership decided to demonstrate its community spirit by giving cars to every single high school in Montgomery County.

The county’s 12 high schools were each given the choice of a 2015 Ford Focus, a 2015 Toyota Corolla, or a 2015 Mazda 3. Not only did the schools receive their pick of vehicle, they also got to choose what to do with their donated cars.  "We're leaving it up to the schools as to how they give it away because they know what's best for their school and their students," said Sparky Gullo, general manager of Gullo Ford of Conroe – The Woodlands and a company vice president.

Sparky grew up in Conroe, and helping out the community is in his blood. "My father, Tony Gullo Sr., has a passion to help kids out, so the family thought supporting the schools was a good way to celebrate this 45th anniversary."

Many of the schools decided to give away the vehicles to their students as prizes for good attendance. After all, what high school kid doesn’t want a new car? Four of the winners were freshmen: Colton Miertschin (of Porter High School), Jazmin Villarrea (of Splendora High School), Benjamin Roeder (of Magnolia High School), and Sebastian Watson (of Magnolia West High School). All of them were equal parts excited and shocked to have won the cars.

Gullo Ford of Conroe – The Woodlands is proud of Gullo Auto Group’s four-and-a-half decades of service to the Conroe community. To see how we can serve you, be sure to stop by the dealership today.
